Privacy is a product, not a form

Privacy Policy

This document is written in plain English because it is meant to be read in difficult moments. If something is unclear — write to us, and we will explain.

1. What we collect

WithU AI is built around the principle of essential minimum. We collect only what is needed for the service to function:

  • Conversation content with the bot — what you wrote in chat, without name, image, or contact details unless you chose to share them.
  • Data you filled into our forms (on the "Contact" page or the four screens of "One step forward") — only if you typed and clicked "submit".
  • Basic technical information about the visit — browser type, access time, referrer — so the site works and issues can be identified.

2. What we do not collect

It matters to us to also be explicit about what is not, and will not be, here:

  • We do not require a name, ID number, exact age, or phone number.
  • We do not require image uploads. The bot does not need — and never asks — to see the harmful content.
  • We do not share conversation data with parents, teachers, schools, or any other third party.
  • We do not use conversations to train external commercial models.

3. How the information is used

The information we do collect is used for three things only:

  • Running the conversation. Without reading what you said, the bot cannot respond.
  • Improving response quality. Some conversations (fully disconnected from any identifying detail) are reviewed by our clinical team to ensure the bot responds with appropriate sensitivity.
  • Technical health. Identifying issues, detecting abuse of the system, and platform stability.

4. Referrals to line 105 and emergency services

Line 105 is the national line in Israel for online harm to children and teens. When the bot suggests reaching out to 105, the referral happens with your knowledge and consent — we never transmit a request on your behalf without your explicit approval.

In a life-saving emergency (immediate danger to life), the bot will suggest calling 100, and will not substitute for that conversation. We believe human emergency services come first — not the chatbot.

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

The site uses only basic functional cookies — those needed for the site to work (for example, to remember which form step you are on). We do not use advertising cookies, Facebook Pixel, or Google Analytics.

If you would like to clear the site cookies — you can do so through your browser settings at any time.

6. Privacy for minors

This service is intentionally aimed at teens (13–18) and young people. Because of the audience, enhanced protections are in place: built-in anonymity, no name required, no transfer of information to parents without the user's consent, and full transparency about what information is stored.

If we note that someone reaching out to us is a minor under the age of 13, we will offer an alternative path through a caring adult.

7. Privacy contact

Questions, deletion requests, or discomfort with anything written here — you can reach us via the Contact page. Our team replies to every contact within 72 hours, even if only to confirm receipt.
